Alternating the sample rate can sometimes help but often I need to reboot the iMac to get it work again. MOTU 828 mk II and RME Fireface 800 are having the most serious problems. I need to reset the "Sample Rate" to other values to get it work again. Then it may have short pause or digital noises.
iTunes or Youtube can play for a short and then there are unbrearable digital noises.Īpogee Duet is slightly better that can play for a few minutes. I just got the late 2013 iMac 3.5GHz Intel Core i7 and all my firewire based audio interfaces do not work properly although I upgraded to the latest drivers.
